Bay Area Veterinary Specialists has the highest concentration of double board-certified veterinarians in the Houston area. Our veterinary technical staff is experienced, dedicated, caring and wants to help you and your pet achieve the best care and outcome possible of any veterinary speciality hospital.
What is a board certified veterinary specialist?
A board certified veterinary specialist is an individual that has completed their undergraduate degree (usually BS), the professional veterinary curriculum (four years) and veterinary licensure and then continues in an approved, accredited specialty program consisting of an additional four years of advanced training.
